Eggheads: ALICE and eggdrop 1.6.17

Hello All,

Has anyone gotten alice.tcl to work, chatting on IRC (Efnet etc) in a 
channel (not web based) using Hippie-C or AineBot in conjuction with your 
eggdrop.  If so can someone send the various configured scripts and settings 
you have used, including the tail of your bot conf file, edited if you want. 
  I believe I would prefer the edited versions of AineBot's config files and 
what not since Hippie is a bit archaic now.

note* the alice.tcl and egghttp.tcl load fine, but I think my error is 
somewhere around not finding the data files for the Ainebot to process. 
Basically getting no response from my eggdrop on the "alice" end of it even 
though I have set it to talk in channel and pm and set the channel to 
chanset +alice  etc

I have tried the AineBot tutorial and followed it verbatim and what not, but 
even that paticular help file is inconclusive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
