Hi:
I just took another closer look at that webiste of theirs. It seems
they need a logo so they seemed to think ours was cool, though they
are mistaken if they think that Eggdrop has anything to do with a
whole egg...
I'll quote their el sumpremo leader jemfinch, " Additionally, since
one of Supybot's primary competitors is the Eggdrop bot, it seems
appropriate for our snake (Python, the power of our source) to be
eating an egg (representative of Eggdrop). One especially nice thing
about snakes, incidentally, is that they can make swell "S" shapes. So
we're thinking a snake in an S shape eating an egg. I (jemfinch still)
have put up an example of how we imagine the head eating the egg."
Really? Now I was sure I heard the original developer of python tell
me that the language was named for none other than Monty Python and
his Flying Circus. So much for baby snakes!
I'll not say anymore... his words say it all!
