Emmm... You seem to do something that we really don't want Eggdrop to
be associated with, and I don't think anyone here condemns that.

In fact you're hurting Eggdrop developers, who put their free time in
developing this very useful program, just to be labeled by clueless
people as abusers.

Eggdrop was never meant to be used for attacking other computers, it
doesn't even come with anything that can be used for that purpose.

Eggdrop is scriptable, and that's a huge advantage, because you can
make it do almost anything. Unfortunately, you can also write Tcl
script, that will make Eggdrop attack other computers, but you could
code a stand alone script that does that without even needing Eggdrop.

I think SDBot is better choice for your paper (since it was actually
made for that use, is also very popular threat and still seem to be
used.).
